In Memory Of

This was taken by the Sandy City Hall today. They call it the Healing Field. There are over 2000 flags! They put them there every Sept. 11 in memory of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. The yellow ribbons that you can see on some of the flag poles have stickers on them with the name of a soldier from Utah that died in combat. It's very touching!
As a lot of you know, I'm VERY patriotic! I'm proud to be the 4th Great-granddaughter of a member of the Mormon Battalion, the Great-granddaughter of a WWI vet, the Granddaughter of a WWII vet and the Daughter of a Air Force, Special Ops. vet! This country means a lot to me! Thanks to all the men and women who have fought to keep it free! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Thanks to Aunt Janet for telling me about the Healing Field!

On a day such as this one, 9/11, it is reassuring to know there are still people who help keep pride in our great country alive!
