Jeremy is engaged to Rachel Call, from Colonial Juarez, Mexico (the Mormon Colonies). We're very excited. The date is yet to be decided, but it will likely be in the Colonial Juarez temple. Her parents are serving as the mission president of the El Salvador, San Salvador West mission (yes, Jeremy's mission) and will return in July, so we'll see if they wait for their return or not. Pres. Call is thrilled, which speaks very highly of Jeremy since he KNOWS Jeremy (Elder Pearson) very well. Rachel and Jeremy met VERY briefly, in El Salvador, then got reacquainted at BYU, and have been dating a few months, steady for about 3 months. Anyway, we (Betty & Delrey) met Rachel at Delrey's mom's funeral, a couple of weeks ago and she is amazing. I'm VERY EXCITED!! Jeremy sounds so happy! Anyway, thought you should all know. Prete Family - minus one sock
I really enjoy looking through old pictures - most of them out of focus... but the culprit has since gotten glasses... and I giggle out loud every time that I see one of the Prete family visiting Idaho on a vacation - and Joe is missing one sock! I think we found that sock later that summer, but he didn't want it back for some weird reason!
Ray Taylor - Battle Tactic guru (explainer)
I remember begrudgingly waking up early for scripture study. We were mostly asleep and we'd all count ahead to see which verses we were in charge of reading. Verse 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 etc
One particular study session that I remember was when we were reading in Alma. We were reading about Captain Moroni and Captains Lehi, Teancum, and Prophet Helamen. They were pursuing the army of Amalakiah. One army was marching full speed ahead, and the other army was to get in behind Amalakiah's army. The army caught up to Amalakiah's army and the first army had to turn around to engage. Helamen's sons were also involved in the battle. While none of Helamen's army lost their lives, many were severely injured. But they were successful in their defeat of Amalakiah. Through their strategy, they were able to attack quickly and effectively and defend their families and homes.
This was one of my favorite memories of reading scriptures.

Welcome
Welcome to the Blog where the generations of Taylor Kids can stay connected. In today's ever changing, busy world, I find it hard to stay in touch. Therefore, I have created a blog and now we can post things to it. We can also share pictures - once you add the option to be able to post. Once we get all of those we want, we can make this blog private, so only our family and those we have approved can access our pictures.
If you have questions on how to add a new post, add a comment, or anything email me (Brooke)
